[Meetings and Other Activities]

 

Chinese Academician, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Science, Professor Zhu Chen visited ACABS and had a meeting with some ACABS members on the 19th of October 2004, while Prof Chen was invited to attend a conference by Australia Academy of Technology and Engineering in Melbourne. At the meeting Prof Chen once again expressed his strong support to ACABS including future meetings. Members of ACABS at the meeting introduced their work and achievements, and expressed their views of collaborating with scientists and researchers in China. ACABS members participated in the meeting were Weisan Chen, Xiao-Jun Du, Fang-Xu Jiang, Chun Guang Li, Jun-Ping Liu, Dakang Xu, Yifan Zhan, Jianguo Zhang and Hong-Jian Zhu. Prof Jinghua Cao and Prof Jiabao Zhang of CAS, and Mr Qingqing Zhao of Chinese Embassy in Australia, participated in the meeting.
